SYV Lacrosse Club's of Conduct
SYV Lacrosse is dedicated to providing its participants, with a quality lacrosse experience that combines a high level of instruction with the opportunity to develop individual and team skills through a variety of practice and competitive formats. In its efforts, SYV Lacrosse is committed to preserving the honor of the game, the true spirit of competition and the role and responsibilities of all participants as contributing citizens in our community.
If You Play, You Agree...
To help fulfill its mission, SYV Lacrosse expects that all participants, their parents and/or legal guardians, families, and friends abide by its Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in immediate expulsion from the program without compensation or refund.

SYV Lacrosse participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that honors the game and demonstrates respect for other players, coaches, officials and spectators.

SYV Lacrosse participants will not perform, permit, encourage, or condone actions that are dangerous or demeaning to any player, coach, official or spectator. Such behavior is unacceptable.

SYV Lacrosse participants are not permitted to be in the possession of or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, and/or tobacco products.

SYV Lacrosse participants are not permitted to be in the possession of weapons.

SYV Lacrosse participants are expected to wear all of the necessary and required equipment for participation in lacrosse.

SYV Lacrosse participants are expected to report any and all injuries to a member of the event medical staff.

SYV Lacrosse participants are expected to treat all of the facilities where we play with respect. The program will not tolerate any actions of vandalism or actions that result in damage to property. SYV Lacrosse participants will hold participants legally and financially responsible for any and all damages they may cause to the property or facilities of SYV Lacrosse including but not limited to Oak Valley Elementary, Jonata Middle School, Sunny Fields, Elings Park, Santa Barbara High School, Dos Pueblos High School, San Marcos High School, Santa Ynez High School, and all other fields and facilities used by SYV Lacrosse.

By participating in the SYV Lacrosse program, a participant consents to being photographed directly or to having his likeness, voice and/or name reproduced on film, tape, video or other recording that may be used at a later date and releases SYV Lacrosse, and its affiliate companies, its officers, directors, employees, agents and licensees and any printer, sponsor and advertising agent from all claims and liabilities for loss or damage to person or property. Each participant also grants to SYV Lacrosse the right to use, in perpetuity, his likeness, voice and/or name recorded or reproduced in connection with the program in all media worldwide whether now known or hereafter invented, including but not limited to, television, radio, cable, videocassette, videodisk, multimedia and on-line, and for advertising, publicity and promotion relating thereto. A participant warrants his right to authorize such use.
